Job Description
● Ensure full compliance with EHS Policies and local legislation to meet EHS objectives and targets. ● Target and drive LTIR (Lost Time Incident Rate) and environmental incidents to zero. ● Manage all EHS related matters and risks identified. ● Minimize the exposure of all people in company premises to the risk of injury and illness. ● Provide positive contribution to the EHS by regular and timely reporting of EHS related reports. ● Encourage involvement of the team’s in continual improvement in all areas of EHS. ● Facilitate implementation of EHS programs in HO & TM&D. ● Conduct EHS committees based on EHS annual plan. ● Ensure development of commercial EHS team in both professional and personal aspects based on identified development plan.
Requirements
● University degree and proven experience in EHS dimensions. ● Approved Degrees: Industrial Safety Engineering, Occupational Health Engineering. ● Excellent verbal and written communication skills. ● Understanding of risk management principles and application to the business, ● Good knowledge of local EHS law and legal processes. ● Detailed knowledge of all functions of the company’s operations. ● Strategic vision: able to set long term objectives, develop the EHS systems, initiate change and continuous benchmarking. ● Excellent organizational abilities. ● Fluency in English. ● Advanced skills on Microsoft Office is preferred, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. ● Strong analytical and problem solving skills. ● Proactive business style is required.
