Job Description

Core responsibilities include: Supporting the Manager - Draft rosters for Manager’s approval and manage swaps/cover as required - Allocated daily/weekly/monthly checks - Lead relevant meetings in the absence of the Manager, following up on all actions Additional management support duties may be extended to include: - Deliver supervision for assigned team members. - Induction of new team members. - Day-to-day planning for the service users (routines, activities etc.) - Standard budgetary admin tasks: credit card logs, petty cash logs, etc. - Monitoring and ordering required supplies (stationary, medication, human care) - Deputies for the Manager during periods of absence, e.g. annual leave, sick leave etc. - Provide rostered duties as part of the on-call team as requested. - Deliver office-based and Team Leader shift duties in a flexible manner, including working during evenings, overnights and at weekends as needed. - Act as the shift leader, leading the team on shift, providing input on day-to-day social care activities and guidance on the delivery of best practice therapeutic care. - Role model positive Social Care practice and supporting the team in their decision making and working within our trauma and attachment informed model of care. - Deliver assigned tasks to support the management, which may include various admin, budget related tasks, daily checks, etc. - Establish a positive relationship with all those in our care. - Participate in devising and providing a plan of stimulating activities for those in our care. - Liaise with our therapeutic support consultants to deliver a truly multi-disciplinary approach which meets the complex needs of all those in our care. - Take seriously any complaint, Safeguarding issue which is raised and observe daily practices to identify if any such issues arise. - Respond appropriately, highlight with management, reflective of internal policies and complete all follow-ups as needed. - Promote the rights and responsibilities of each individual in our care. - Maintain all relevant records in a consistent and efficient manner. - Deliver any other ad-hoc duties as assigned in line with business requirements.

Requirements

-At least Bachelor's degree in civil/Architectural/Industrial Engineering from recognized and reputable universities -Knowledge in PMBOK -Capability to use relevant Software in Office -Enough technical knowledge in buildings projects -MS Office, MS Visio, MS project and AutoCAD -At least 3 years’ experience in project team of construction companies with minimum one year experience as a Deputy Manager -Eager to achieve challenging targets -Self-motivated -Highly developed interpersonal Skills -Effective negotiation skills -Multi task capability -Leadership capability -Capability to communicate well -Interested in delegation and team working -Problem solving capability -Proficiency in English (written and spoken) -Ideal Age Range: 27 - 35
