We are on the lookout for a CTO with previous experience as CTO/Head of Development to lead the entire software development organization for a knowledge base software company and leading in educational software technologies. We have a strong Product Development team currently made from 5 professionals with aggressive growth plans. You will report directly to the CEO. You will have the opportunity to join the management team and lead a business with a product-first mindset and passion for technology and product quality. You will be in charge of: -Lead Behsaman’s software development organization and provide technology leadership for all products and services offered by Behsaman -Manage and inspire a growing team of software engineers -Grow Behsaman’s software development team through hiring and retaining top talent -Define the process that ensures the delivery of high quality, high availability, and highly reliable, scalable, and secure systems -Define, implement, and oversee a highly effective and flexible development process that delivers our product roadmap and business objectives whilst offering a collaborative welcoming environment for team members -Work with our CEO and Support Leads to define and deliver the technical vision for the platform -Collaborate with other Behsaman Teams (e.g. Support Team, Marketing, Business Development, etc.) to build new features and products.

Requirements

-Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (MS or Ph.D. preferred) is mandatory. -Experience in managing a team of engineers either as Head of Development, CTO or VP of Engineering -3+ years of engineering experience leading multiple teams across multiple products and technologies -Spent 5+ years in hands-on .NET architecture and programming in a hands-on, development-intensive individual contributor role -Experience is Software Engineering focused instead of product management -Experience and expertise in growing and scaling software development teams, including hiring, developing, and retaining top talent within the industry -Proven experience in building high-performance teams and scalable best engineering practices -Recent experience with DevOps and Cloud architecture
