Job Description

The Warehouse/Logistics Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of warehouse operations and alignment between the Logistics & Warehouse team, M&S departments, and branches. His/her areas of impact are M&S launches and activities and eliminating short shipments (including transportation cost and product destruction). The incumbent must be able to monitor and control inventory and the product life cycle (cigarettes in particular), act as a process facilitator, and suggest and provide cost-efficient solutions with the intent to minimize cost and inventory. The role requires expertise in planning, organizing, and supervising warehouse activities in detail, and daily presence in the warehouse (at least 3–4 hours). He/She must be able to act as a problem solver to analyze, justify, evaluate, and create solutions for common warehouse challenges and issues, adapt problem-solving approaches based on the environment and complexity of issues, and continuously improve processes to enhance efficiency. The incumbent is accountable for the warehouse management system (including product creation, verification, documentation accuracy, and deliveries), warehouse outcomes and results, and exercising freedom to act within established guidelines (EHS P&C) with M&S departments, impacting end results through effective coordination of warehouse operations activities. This is a full-time job and may require occasional evening or weekend shifts to accommodate operational needs.

Main Areas of Responsibility:
JTI assets protection, Inventory Control and Stock taking:
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement teams with the aim to minimize the inventory.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Assist in inventory audits and cycle counts (Daily, Weekly, Monthly). Participate in stock take operation, archive the relevant documents and Assists branches coordinators, WMS troubleshooting.
• Maintain warehouse safe against probable crisis such as flood, earthquake, etc.
Documentation and Reporting:
• Warehouse Management System (Odoo), ensure the system is always up to date, verifying the accuracy of the products definitions, unit of measurements, Lots, operation, ...
• Control and check (Inc. Invoice, green paper, packing list…),
• Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading and packing list.
• Ensure the QC operation for the newly received product is being done.
• Generate reports on inventory levels, order fulfillment, and warehouse efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of damaged or returned goods.
Logistics Support:
• Supervise shipping and receiving activities (collecting orders, book the vehicle, suggest the best available vehicle and schedule, receive Delivery Service Providers (DSP) invoice and verify it.
• Collaborate with carriers and freight forwarders.
• Ensure that the transportation invoice files are always up to date.
• Optimize transportation routes and delivery schedules.
Safety Compliance:
• Enforce safety protocols for warehouse staff.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and training sessions.
• Maintain safety records and incident reports.
• Attend the monthly EHS meeting, follow up tasks.
Team Collaboration:
• Assist in training new team members.
• Foster a positive work environment.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required:
Education:
• Minimum BS degree in preferably management, industrial engineering
Work Experience:
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Logistics & Warehouse
Language Skills:
• Minimum Intermediate English
Functional Skills:
• Advanced Microsoft Skills (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
• Preferably physical stamina for lifting and moving inventory
