Job Description
- Implement, support, and maintain virtualization infrastructure based on VMware virtualization.
- Configure, and manage HP/EMC storages as well as SAN Switch.
- Maintain and perform data backup and recovery operations.
- Configure, support, and troubleshoot HPE products.
- Monitor and troubleshoot the data center service/hardware layer.
- Respond to customer support tickets, by phone, or email.
- Enforce company security policies and other compliance requirements.
- Provide after-hours support in need.
Requirements
- At least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other related fields.
- More than three years of experience in similar positions.
- Strong knowledge of VMware virtualization and VCP DCV 7.0.
- Strong experience with storage configuration and administration (EMC/HPE Storage Technologies).
- Good knowledge of SAN Fabric, and SAN switches.
- Familiarity with Linux (LPIC1level).
- Proficient in implementing and planning backup solutions such as Veeam, NetBackup, and TAPE.
- Good knowledge of Servers Hardware (HPE Blade, Synergy, OneView).
- Ability to document and infrastructure reports according to the needs of the team.
- Ability to learn new technologies, processes, and other skills.
