At PG (PersianGig) our Visual Designer designs, owns, and promotes typography, iconography, color, texture, and pixels altogether. We help PG users successfully navigate our web and mobile products. You believe that all of our products should be beautiful, user-friendly, and accessible. As a Visual Designer, you delight users with designs that engage and excite them. Like all of our positions, you'll collaborate with your fellow developers and designers to constantly improve PG products into beautiful products that people love to use. Responsibilities • Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience • Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering • Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks • Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders • Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
Requirements
• Extensive experience in designing outstanding web-portals and consumer-oriented websites. • Expertise with industry-standard design tools such as: Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, etc. • Self-motivated to manage workload with minimal management overhead, ability to prioritize and meet project deadlines. • Ability to build good working relationships within the PG family. • Excellent problem-solving skills and proficiency with technical limitations in designing for web/desktop/mobile/Android/iOS apps. Personal Qualities: • Start-Up Mentality • Familiarity with English • Drive to learning and constant self-improvement • Self-directed, confident, able to use best-practice graphics design processes effectively.
