
Job Description
The Treasury Lead leads the company’s treasury function to ensure day-to-day liquidity, smooth payment and collection operations, and effective banking management. This role is responsible for cash planning and forecasting, optimizing banking processes and costs, maintaining strong relationships with financial institutions, and ensuring treasury activities comply with internal policies and relevant regulations. The Treasury Lead partners closely with Finance/Accounting and key stakeholders to provide timely reporting and support business continuity through strong controls and risk awareness.
Responsibilities
•Own daily treasury operations: execute and monitor payments, receipts, and bank transactions with accuracy and timeliness.
•Prepare, maintain, and improve cash positioning and cash flow forecasts (weekly/monthly/annual), aligned with budgeting and planning cycles.
•Manage bank relationships: oversee bank accounts, review banking services and fees, and negotiate/renew banking arrangements in coordination with stakeholders (e.g., Legal/Compliance where needed).
•Monitor regulatory/banking environment changes that affect treasury operations and recommend process updates accordingly.
•Manage credit-related items as applicable: customer credit limits/payment terms, bank guarantees, and tracking/renewal of guarantees and related documentation.
Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
•Typically 5–7+ years of relevant treasury/cash management experience, with proven ownership of core treasury processes (payments, banking, cash forecasting).
•Strong understanding of banking operations and local financial regulations; familiarity with loans, guarantees, and banking facilities is a plus.
•Advanced Excel and strong reporting capability; proficiency with ERP/accounting systems and treasury modules (e.g., SAP or similar) preferred.
•Excellent attention to detail, integrity, and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
•Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills; able to communicate clearly with Finance leadership and external banks.
