Job description:
● Review tender documents and prepare checklist of tender including technical, financial, commercial, contractual and legal aspects.
● Provide time schedule of the bidding process and specify milestones, perform the bidding procedure accordingly and make corrections if necessary.
● Source for equipment and corresponding with suppliers to provide technical and financial proposals.
● Identify potential partners and dealing with them in order to make Joint Ventures and Consortiums.
● Correspond with clients and consultants for clarifications and tender procedure.
● Fill up necessary forms and applications to provide tender proposal.
● Prepare the final bid proposal, submit and follow up continuously until receiving result.
Requirements
Knowledge and skills required:
● BSc or MSc in Engineering.
● Enough experience in EPC contractors or consultant firms.
● Experience in the field of power substations is preferred.
● English proficiency.
● MS Office.
● Proficiency in the price list analysis system of domestic tenders.
● Enough knowledge of high and low voltage equipment of power substations (AIS and GIS).
● Familiarity with relevant national and international standards.
● Familiarity with relevant software.
● Proficiency in estimating quantities and volumes of substation components such as grounding system, wires and cables, etc.
● Ability to fill up technical guarantee schedules of equipment.
● Proficiency in preparing bid proposal including legal, technical and financial parts for domestic and international tenders.
● Familiarity with the principles and provisions of domestic and foreign contracts.
● Familiarity with employers, consultants and contractors in the power and energy sectors.
