Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Production Technical Leadership: Oversee and technically supervise all production processes within the plastic injection molding unit, specifically covering IV Set production lines and PET bottle/component projects.
Project Launch & Commissioning: Actively participate in and technically lead the commissioning of new plastic molding projects (PET and IV Set related), including equipment installation, initial tuning, stable start-up, and performance monitoring.
Equipment Management: Supervise the proper operation, maintenance, and repair of all related equipment, including:
Plastic Injection Molding Machines
Air Compressors and compressed air systems
Chillers and cooling/temperature control equipment
Other auxiliary production machinery.
Maintenance & Repair: Plan and execute Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) for all assigned equipment.
Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis: Promptly diagnose and resolve technical issues with machinery and production processes; perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
Technical Quality Control: Ensure the technical quality of manufactured products according to established standards, working closely with the Quality Control/Production departments.
Team Management & Training: Lead, train, and manage the technical team and production operators, ensuring safe and correct operation of machinery.
Safety & Housekeeping: Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Documentation: Record and document all technical activities, equipment failures, maintenance actions, and operational status.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
Relevant Experience:
Minimum of [Specify number, e.g., 3, 5, 7] years of hands-on technical/supervisory experience in industrial manufacturing environments, preferably in Plastics, Medical Devices, or similar production settings.
Mandatory Technical Expertise:
Hands-on experience with Plastic Injection Molding Machines, including process parameter setup (temperatures, pressures, cycle times, mold settings, etc.).
Practical knowledge of the mechanics and industrial machinery related to injection molding.
Familiarity with Compressor and Chiller systems and their role in production stability (compressed air supply, temperature control, etc.).
Commissioning Experience: Experience in industrial line/project start-up and initial equipment setup (preferably for PET projects or similar components).
Skills:
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) abilities.
Ability to plan and follow up on preventive maintenance (PM) schedules and coordinate with maintenance/production teams.
Effective communication and reporting skills; ability to manage a technical team.
