Position : Technical Sales Manager, Food Cultures & Enzymes, Dairy Location: Chr. Hansen Branch, Tehran Reports to: Business Manager, Chr. Hansen Branch Background: Main activity of Chr. Hansen Iran is serving daily customer contacts and sales activities. Technical support to our customers is one of the most important differentiators for Chr. Hansen and the technical sales manager role will be driving our direct presence with selected customers and ensuring our success with these. Overall role & responsibility: Manage customer portfolio – with focus on excellence in technical support on cultures and enzymes - in order to reach and exceed your sales budget. Responsibilities and tasks - Show the way and provide excellent level of customer service to both internal and external customers - Manage customer relationships: ● Follow and execute on-site trials to secure right field data collection and validation until successful implementation of Chr. Hansen culture and/or enzymes solutions ● Provide excellent customer support for cultures and enzymes by factory visits, audits and troubleshooting (phage audits etc.) of challenges as required ● Be able to organize and provide training programs and troubleshooting (innovation days, technical product training, phage audits etc.) for customers ● Conduct technical presentations to customers, explaining the use of Chr. Hansen ingredients in food applications ● Handle sample requests, submit TSR’s and follow up on those ● Responsible for maintaining, updating and executing focus account plans to grow business in alignment with the country business plan for Iran - Ensure CRM system is maintained with up to date customer and competitor information on customer, market, product, and pricing and production volumes - Manage project pipeline and participate in monthly business & pipeline management review meetings - Grow sales double digit on a year on year basis to your defined accounts in Iran - In concert with Business Manager develop ambitious yet realistic sales budgets - Support DSO and account receivables - Participate in monthly meeting to discuss key projects/opportunities - In collaboration with global and local business development, implement new product launches or concepts including PR activities, planning of customer seminars and local sales campaigns - Provides timely internal sales and customer related reports - Perform all other duties as assigned - Frequent traveling up to 120 days is required for this position

Requirements

- Education and Experience: M.Sc./B.Sc. in Food Science. Ability to read, write and speak English is a requirement of this position. - Practical experience from an ingredient supplier or a dairy plant is a plus. - Personal skills: Analytical, structured, high energetic with can do attitude, team player
