Job Description
Objective: • R&D in the new retail technology • Repairing and maintaining Touch POS Systems and other devices in store equipment. • Technical assistance by person contribution, live support on website or by call center • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues • Research questions using available information resources • Advise user on appropriate action • Follow standard help desk procedures • Log all help desk interactions • Administer help desk software • Redirect problems to correct resource • Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention • Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions • Prepare activity reports • Inform management of recurring problems • Stay current with system information, changes and updates • Remain aware of new product developments and new technologies Reporting to: Department Manager Other interactions: end customers, dealers Number required: 2 Duration: Permanent Desired start date: Immediate Working hours: Sat-Wed 08:45-18:00, Thu 08:45-12:45pm Travel requirements: Occasional travel within country (limited) Gross monthly base salary: Negotiable Commission / Bonus: Rewards according to targets Other Benefits: Complementary health insurance
Requirements
University qualifications: BSc or higher in Electronic or Computer Engineering Previous experience: At least 5 years of work experience in IT & electronic fields in similar positions Specialist knowledge: • Fluent in repairing electronic boards (Main boards & PCB MAIN and etc.). • Computer hardware and software troubleshooting • Electronic board repair experience (chip level) • The candidate must be able to do hardware (open and repaid Handheld, Touch POS and etc) and software (install OS, troubleshooting, Install drivers and software) • Comprehensive knowledge about computers (hardware and software), electronics, mobile devices networks and innovative technologies Other Skills: • Proficiency in administrative skills, reporting and documentation • Teamwork capabilities • Powerful social connection Ideal Age Range: min: 25 & max: 40 Language Skills: English Current Residence: Tehran
