Technical Division Manager

Job Description

- Determine and assign all of the project managers and all of the projects resources. - Observe and control the projects quality. - Provide technical and management reports and deliver to Deputy Director of Operations. - Perform software product installation, configuration management, maintenance, troubleshooting, testing and documentation for virtualization environments. - Recommend, install, configure, and maintain a large distributed Storage Area Network (SAN) and Networked Attached Storage (NAS) environment. - Manage, monitor and tune multiple SAN and NAS environments. - Responsible for interconnect, replication, synchronization, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery of storage systems. - Ensure highest level of availability, reliability and performance. - Work with customers on projects related to your specialization in order to create supportable solutions that meet customer requirements. - Provide systematic evaluation, recommendation and/or selection of items such as vendors and their products including hardware, software packages, communications products, consulting services, systems integration services, etc. - Techniques used include side-by-side weighted assessments, price-performance analyses, cost-benefit analyses, etc. will often be required to participate on a selection committee acting as technical advisor.
