● Assist the manager of financial reporting in collecting, processing, and reporting monthly financial data for assigned companies.
● Prepare detailed schedules for the yearly audit and year-end financial statements.
● Provide detailed accounting and reporting for bank debt and interest accruals.
● Prepare bank account to general ledger balance reconciliations for bank accounts.
● Responsible for monthly TFM reporting with reconciliation to financial reporting.
● Ensure the company's compliance with group reporting and corporate policies concerning inter-company transactions and reconciliations.
● Assist the manager of financial reporting and CFO with various treasury-related activities related to operating accounts as well as new and established credit facilities.
● Assist the manager of financial reporting with the monthly management information.
● Reconcile and adjust assigned general ledger accounts, if needed.
● Participate in special projects/ prepare special analyses for management as required.
● Prepare headcount reconciliation analysis.
● Audit and budgeting.
● Cooperate with external and internal auditors to provide the information required.
● Participate in internal audits, detailing issues and recommendations.
● Maintain appropriate documentation for audit purposes.
● Maintain standard cost files and associated systems.
● Manage the preparation of monthly cost reports including cost trends, overtime, and maintenance.
● Ensure inventory cycle counts are performed to verify the physical balance, and costs for inventory items are reflected on an appropriate basis.
● Develop appropriate relationships and communications to enhance cost and financial reporting.
Requirements
● Good level of English – spoken and written.
● Accounting work experience.
● Experience in standard costing.
● Experience in inventory reports.
● Experience in accounting/closing in an international company.
● Experience in tax (VAT).
● Experience in gross profit margin reporting.
● Experience in ad hoc reporting and sales.
