Job Description
Objective: To ensure all engineering related aspects of heavy-lift operations are implemented and managed to the highest level of quality, from initial service design to operation execution Main responsibilities: •Heavy-lift operation service design including load distribution, overload and tilt-limit calculations for heavy cargo on hydraulic modular trailers •Calculations for pulling force •Provision of technical solutions for heavy-lift transportation and obstacle circumvention •Supervision of loading and offloading operations •Assuring the adherence of equipment load limitations as per manufacturer specifications •Quality control of engineering related operations •Performing feasibility studies and route surveys •Project Management and Budget Control •Liaising with clients •Job will require frequent traveling within Iran and field work Reporting to: Company Owners and Project Division Manager Subordinates: Field Operations Team Other interactions: Project Management Team Duration: Permanent Working hours: 08:00 to 17:00 Sat-Wed, 08:00 to 12:00 Thurs. plus occasional Fridays if on field assignments Travel requirements: Frequent travel within Iran Gross monthly base salary: Favorable, subject to previous experience and expertise Commission / Bonus: Performance-related bonus at discretion of top management Other Benefits: Subsidized health care
Requirements
University qualifications: BSc in structural engineering Previous experience: 5 years within structural engineering working environment including field work Specialist knowledge: - Excellent knowledge of dynamic forces essential. - Knowledge of CAD based software required. - Knowledge of civil and mechanical engineering beneficial. - Knowledge of Iranian roads and regulations beneficial Other requirements: - Excellent attention to detail. - Ability to work as part of a team. - Presentable, can give positive and confident image to client. - Can travel on short notice.
