Job Description

An international company is seeking multiple expert PHP developers to support in the built of its industry changing web-based platform. As a developer, reporting directly to the Technology Leader, you are responsible for the development and testing of the Business X platform, as per project schedule, budget and to the satisfactory level of the end-users, investors and CEO. Responsibilities: • Development and Deployment - Play an active role in ensuring Business X's technology meets our clients needs and is operational "24/7" - Code, maintain and troubleshoot programs - Create a comprehensive and automatic set of test cases and test the developed parts to ensure the quality of the developed module(s) - Promote coding conventions, disciplines and documentation standards - Collaborate with the founders, potential customers and management staff to develop new use cases (or user stories) or modify/edit old test cases and specifications - Analyze performance of programs and take action to correct deficiencies - Ensure the software revision control system and repository is updated - Ensure alignment with company software development methodology - Communicate your results using the companies chat system, blog and project management tools - Review current best practices for the selected web framework and adopt best practices - Ensure deadlines are met with respect to the approved development release schedule - Confer with users and the management team to gain understanding of needed changes or modifications of existing programs. Resolve questions of program intent, data input, output requirements, and inclusion of internal checks and controls - Write and maintain programming documentation. • Leadership - Provide leadership in contributing to Business X's culture to ensure a healthy, highly energetic working environment cultivated for personal/ professional success.
