
Job Description
The SEO Manager is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing SEO strategies to increase organic traffic, improve keyword rankings, and drive sustainable growth in search engine visibility. This role works closely with content, technical, and marketing teams and has a direct impact on overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy covering on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
* Conduct market, competitor, and user behavior analysis to identify growth opportunities
* Perform keyword research and define SEO-driven content roadmaps
* Oversee technical SEO initiatives, including site structure, URL architecture, site speed, indexability, and Core Web Vitals
* Manage and optimize content creation and existing content with an SEO-focused approach
* Plan and execute off-page SEO strategies, including link-building initiatives
* Monitor SEO performance and deliver actionable, data-driven reports
* Collaborate with marketing, product, and development teams to align SEO efforts with business objectives
* Stay up to date with search engine algorithm updates and industry best practices
* Train, mentor, and guide team members on SEO principles and execution
Required Skills & Competencies:
* Proven hands-on experience managing and executing SEO projects
* Strong expertise in technical SEO, on-page optimization, and off-page SEO
* Proficiency with SEO tools such as:
* Google Analytics
* Google Search Console
* SEMrush or Ahrefs
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
* Basic understanding of HTML, website structure, and web development concepts
* Excellent planning, prioritization, and project management skills
* High attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 3 years of relevant SEO experience
* Demonstrated success in improving organic rankings and traffic growth
* Familiarity with digital marketing and user acquisition funnels
Nice to Have (Preferred Qualifications):
* Experience working on high-traffic websites or marketplaces
* Knowledge of international and multilingual SEO
* Prior experience leading or mentoring SEO teams
* Familiarity with BI tools and analytical dashboards
