● Design compelling user experiences that are engaging and sticky enough that we can engage a user to learn to read while enjoying it.
● Design for extreme simplicity such that the product is immediately usable by anyone, regardless of age, education level, or previous exposure to digital products.
● Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements, and provide creative, thoughtful solutions.
● Communicate the user experience at various stages of the design process with wireframes, user journeys or user flows, storyboards, mockups, high-fidelity, and prototypes.
● Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience updates.
● Work directly on the interface and experience design of our products.
● Observe current user behavior and make design suggestions to improve UX.
● Conduct qualitative and quantitative research.
Requirements
● Guide product initiatives from conception to conclusion, including product ideation, user research, user flows, prototypes, wireframes, functional specifications, high-fidelity design, product specs, etc.
● Able to analyze, optimize, and simplify workflows.
● Obsessive attention to even the smallest detail.
● Great time management skills.
● Portfolio of past work showcasing your process.
● Experience running user interviews and testing sessions.
● Mastery of design and prototyping tools.
● Experience working in a team-based, start-up, or agile development environment.
