Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly connected International Grain Procurement & Supply Manager to lead the company's strategic sourcing and procurement activities in global grain markets. The successful candidate will play a key role in securing sustainable, competitive, and reliable grain supplies while contributing to the company's long-term growth and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and expand relationships with grain suppliers across target markets.
- Identify and evaluate new sourcing opportunities and supply channels.
- Negotiate, execute, and manage international grain procurement contracts.
- Design and implement sourcing and procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee international purchasing processes, logistics operations, customs clearance, and trade documentation.
- Manage supply chain, logistics, and foreign exchange risks.
- Monitor and analyze global grain market trends, pricing, and supply dynamics.
- Provide market intelligence, strategic recommendations, and commercial insights to senior management.
- Ensure sustainable, cost-effective, and uninterrupted supply of raw materials.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in grain procurement, commodity trading, agricultural imports, or related fields.
- Established network of grain producers, exporters, traders, and suppliers in Russia and CIS countries.
- Demonstrated experience in negotiating and managing international grain procurement contracts.
- Strong knowledge of international procurement processes, logistics, customs regulations, and foreign trade operations.
- Solid understanding of Incoterms and international trade finance instruments.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess global grain markets and manage commercial risks.
- Full professional proficiency in English.
- Knowledge of Russian is considered a significant advantage.
