Job Description
- Responsible for all deliverable within the electrical discipline as Technical Authority level 2 for the project - Responsible for quality control of the electrical discipline during the engineering, construction and commissioning phases. - Prepare design basis for electrical discipline, generate conceptual options and define functional requirements for electrical and power systems - Evaluate and select technologies for electrical and power systems on basis of energy efficiency, GHG emissions and lifecycle cost - Manage external contractors in electrical design related matters and ensure delivery of quality documentation - Support and provide technical input for power sale or consumption agreements
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years professional experience in the oil & gas and energy business and international experience in on-/ off shore operated ventures - Top level electrical detail knowledge about key electrical components, design, and operation of electrical systems including hands-on experience using power and electrical system design and construction of power plants and electrical systems. - Experience working both on Customer and Contractor roles is preferred. - In depth knowledge of international and industry standards (IEC, EN, ATEX, NFPA, API, CIGRE) - Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams - Willing to travel to foreign countries in which OMV has or might operate Branch Offices - Ability to work in an international multi-cultural environment. - Ability to multi-task and work on several projects simultaneously. - Demonstrating self initiative. Fluent command of English. High personal commitment to HSE.
