Job Description

CAPE is searching for drilling engineers for its in-house upstream department and for projects and jobs with clients in their offices. Detailed knowledge and / or experience of the following: • Design drilling/completion and work-over programs • Drawing up drilling programs; designing and selecting downhole and well-head equipment; • Update the drilling progress versus schedule on weekly and monthly basis. • Supervise and propose well drilling and completion reports. • Provide detailed Scope of Work for drilling services • Prepare and finalize drilling program including drilling services • Engineering support of well site drilling personnel / supervisors • Analysis of drilling operations reports and cost on regular basis • Drilling operations safety • Directional, horizontal and multi-lateral well design

Requirements

The following skills, experience and qualifications are required: • Drilling or relevant engineering degree • At least 5 years experiences working as a drilling engineer • An ability to deal with complex issues, and incomplete data, both systematically and creatively • Good communication skills • Ability to lead a small team to maximize the capabilities of the team members • Resourceful and highly motivated
