Senior Cost Control & Estimation Specialist

Job Description

Develop and providing CAPEX Cost Estimates for Directorates and Projects needs for the whole Project life cycle.
Maintenance and update of cost estimates procedures and cost database
Provide support in the development of cost breakdown structures, estimates, records and forecasts for the timely submission into the investment documentation, the annual corporate planning cycle, or partner cash calling submissions.
Participate on CRA and SRA workshops and provide inputs, advisor on Contingency, productivity factors and Escalation to be applicable for relevant projects
Verify Variation Orders on current contracts and anticipated future contracts.
Utilize the company approved costing methodology, data and systems to present estimate results in a detailed breakdown format suitable for use.
Obtain data and information (MTO/BoQ, Vendor Quotation Unit Prices, etc.). Analyze information for cost drivers and trends. Compare the results to any historical data.
Identifying constraints and assumptions. Clearly define what is included and excluded from the estimate. Account for the assumption on escalation or inflation.
Prepare Basis of Estimate Document (BOE). Outlines the estimate constraints and assumptions and documents all steps used to develop the estimate. Identify each project detail and estimate, including auditable and traceable data sources for each element.
