Sales Manager plays a key leadership role in the TDR Parsian’s business and is responsible for achieving volume, market share and profitability targets on the Iranian market. He or she will play a crucial role in setting up and running commercial activities of fast growing international tobacco operations
The role includes the following tasks, responsibilities and accountabilities:
• define and execute planning and budgeting process by leading and driving market share, volume and profit objectives
• define and implement successful distribution strategy and objectives, securing proper distribution with all channels of trade
• formulate all sales policies, practices and procedures
• provide direction and prioritization of trade marketing and distribution strategies across the market
• provide effective and timely feedback on proposed activities
• develop business partnerships with all classes of trade in order to promote our products and brands
• develop and nurture customer partnerships in order to maximize business opportunities
• define and implement account/channel plans and strategies
• recruit and train sales staff
• monitor teams’ performance and motivate sales representatives to reach targets
• arrange, manage and participate in brand-building events
Requirements
• At least 5 years’ experience in managing sales and distribution activities
• FMCG background
• Strong ability to develop and drive ambitious business growth activities
• People management and people development skills
• sound planning and analytical interpretation skills
• Highly skilled communicator and strong negotiation and influencing skills
