As a sales engineer (paint and coating), you will have a very active role responsible for significantly growing revenue, capturing new customers, and growing business within the existing account base. Also, selling in these markets cannot depend on consumer-type sales methods alone, instead, it relies heavily on market research on new products and new businesses, to open new lines in active businesses and markets.
Essential Functions:
Establish relationships with clients and maintain and nurture business relationships with existing clients and source new clients.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and involvement in networks.
Generate meetings with decision-making either face-to-face or over the phone.
Collect and maintain records of international commercial data related to the company’s products.
Prepare and submit weekly reports related to the scope of work, procedures, and responsibilities.
Collect information and review the activities and prices of competitors periodically.
Prepare invoices, PI, sales reports, and presentations with cooperation.
Evaluate all related tenders and take appropriate action.
Study new products and prepare market mapping.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Polymer Coatings Technology or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in the field.
Understanding of the components of the products of paints, coating solutions, and building materials and the ability to demonstrate how they work.
Well-versed in spoken and written English, with good experience in writing mature content.
Good knowledge of computer applications, particularly being very professional in using Microsoft Office.
Self-organized, self-motivated, result-oriented, team worker.
Creative thinking, very strong analytical abilities, and decision-making based on facts.
Good communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
Sensitive to details and ambition to grow in the role as the company expands.
