Job Description

  • Visit and circulate among potential customers on foot to present products and record orders.
  • Provide superior customer service and maintain professional relationships with clients in assigned territory.
  • Follow up on negotiations and open business with customers.
  • Achieve quantitative and qualitative sales goals for assigned territory.
  • Record and enter orders for merchandise into computers and follow up on the delivery of ordered goods.
  • Obtain payments from customers.
  • Complete understanding of pricing and product features.
  • Identify the new market potential as well as develop prospect lists.
  • Explain products and prices to retail outlets and customers and answer questions about product features and benefits.
  • Inform customers of new products that can increase customer satisfaction and sales
  • Distribute product samples and literature that detail products.
  • Maintain a comprehensive and updated database of clients.
  • Participate in promotional campaigns and marketing events.
  • Do other duties as assigned.
