Job Description

We are looking for a Master of Science in Chemistry or Polymer Engineering to join our expanding research and development team. The main responsibilities for this position focus on: ● Support other researchers in the development of innovative products for the chemical industry. ● Develop and implement the synthesis method from laboratory-scale to pilot-scale. ● Support other researchers in troubleshooting, experiment design, and product development. ● Submit updates, interim reports, and final reports as appropriate. ● Evaluate the latest industry formulations and test methods. ● Collect scientific data and interpret them. ● Interface with QC and other laboratory groups. ● Keep up to date with industry and chemistry advances related to the field of work.

Requirements

● Strong knowledge of organic and inorganic synthesis, polymerization reactions, purification, and characterization of chemical compounds. ● Ability to analyze and interpret scientific data and make decisions with some supervision. ● Strong theoretical knowledge of synthetic chemistry. ● Excellent communication skills with cross-functional teams. ● Excellent research and organizational skills. ● Self-motivated. ● Good interpersonal skills. ● Knowledge of polymerization techniques is advantageous. ● Ability to work on a range of diverse projects is expected.
