Job Description
Purchasing manager for Bayer Parsian AG, is responsible for all tactical procurement activities and support of sourcing and the main responsibilities are: 1- Coordination of tactical purchasing activities at the assigned site 2- Management of the tactical Purchasing team 3- Realize targets such as savings, inventory reduction, working capital improvements, etc. 4- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and is responsible for optimum use of staff and technical capabilities within defined area 5- Report performance of tactical Purchasing group to CFO and division stakeholders 6- Assure continuous improvement of tactical purchasing processes
Requirements
1- BA or equivalent degree in a technical and/or business discipline 2- Strong negotiating, communication, presentation, influencing and problem solving skills 3- Demonstrated analytical decision making skills and creative thought process ability 4- Specific knowledge of Tactical and Strategic Procurement, Quality Management Systems (ISO/QS9000), Regulatory Requirements and Logistics Processes, Principles and Practices is highly desired 5- Sound knowledge of business practices, financial tools and Procurement policies and procedures 6- Ability to communicate with all levels of employees 7- Fluent in German and/or English, and local language 8- Strong knowledge best practice tactical purchasing tools and methods 9- Good operational team management and leadership skills
