Job Description

● Oversee editorial and production services for society-owned journals in close partnership with society and association editorial offices and internal Operations support departments. ● Proactively coordinate with internal resources to support the highest level of quality for both print and electronic publications. ● Manage the entire end-to-end process of publication of journal articles and issues, i.e., from submission of articles for peer review to final issue publication (electronic and paper). ● Deliver editorial (pre-acceptance) services to editors, authors, and reviewers according to the Service Level set per journal and specific needs of journals or editor, author, and reviewer communities. ● Deliver editorial support and production services according to baseline services or Service Level agreements set per journal. ● Suggest and implement means of improvement in the end-to-end process.

Requirements

● Master's degree. ● Direct customer service experience. ● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. ● Excellent command of English, including grammar, and usage. ● Basic aptitude for proofreading, as well as strong attention to detail. ● Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills. ● Microsoft Office experience, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
