Job Description

● Observe and follow R&D procedures covering a specific area of R&D activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service to customers. ● Coordinate and assist with sample formulation and development using pre-identified raw material needed from R&D formula to ensure that products are developed and samples are created based on strict procedures. ● Taste, observe, and smell ingredients and finished samples to ensure that characteristics of flavor, color, taste, etc. meet specifications, or to select samples with specific characteristics. ● Monitor experiments, make observations, calculate and record results, and often develop conclusions to capture data and information. ● Maintains R&D laboratory housekeeping standards in order to keep the workplace neat and tidy. ● Maintain an accurate inventory of all R&D product samples stored in freezers and cold storage areas.

Requirements

● Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and allied fields. ● 2 years of work experience, preferably in the food manufacturing sector. ● Effective communication and interpersonal skills. ● Planning and organization skills.
