Conceptualization: Engage in ideation sessions, sketching out initial designs and concepts in collaboration with the technical and sales teams.
Modeling and Testing: Develop product models and test MVPs (Minimum Viable Products) to ensure their efficacy and appeal.
Finalization: Refine and finalize product designs based on feedback and testing results, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives and market demands.
Design Optimization: Optimize existing product designs for enhanced functionality and aesthetics.
Product Identity: Establish and maintain a coherent product identity across hardware and software platforms.
Product Visualization and Marketing:
3D Renderings: Create high-quality 3D visualizations and renderings of the product for marketing and promotional purposes.
Promotional Materials: Design and produce materials for product campaigns, including but not limited to promos, advertisements, and other visual content.
Collaboration: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure design and branding policies are consistently implemented across all campaigns and documentation.
Requirements
Proficiency in 3D design software, with specific expertise in Blender 3D.
Proficiency with SOLIDWORKS/fusion 360.
Familiarity with a rendering engine.
Adequate knowledge of After Effects and Photoshop.
Experience with 3D Printing.
Understanding of Rapid Prototyping.
Comprehensive knowledge of UX design principles and MOCKUP DESIGN.
