Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, databases, and PMS.
Monitor and report project progress against established plans and milestones.
Control risk assessments and risk mitigation strategies.
Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client requirements (based on Project Charter and Project scope).
Collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve issues, conflicts, and delays.
Provide timely and accurate project status updates to management and stakeholders.
Facilitate communication and coordination among project team members and stakeholders.
Prepare and present project reports, analyses, and recommendations (Earned Value Management, Schedule, Budget, and Cashflow).
Maintain project control documentation and archives.
Provide training and guidance to project team members on project control processes and tools.
Prepare and distribute regular project status reports to stakeholders, including project schedule, budget, Earned Value Report, Cashflow, and progress updates.
Collect and consolidate data from various sources, including project managers, contractors, and other team members, to generate comprehensive reports.
Analyze data and highlight key issues, risks, and opportunities to facilitate decision-making and course corrections.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project Control documentation, including meeting minutes, action items, and change orders.
Develop and maintain project dashboards and metrics to monitor performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and targets (Power BI and Excel).
Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate reporting and alignment of project goals and objectives.
Conduct regular project reviews and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and recommend appropriate actions.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements for project reporting and documentation.
Provide ad-hoc reports and analysis as requested by management.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 2 to 6 years of experience in project control.
Extensive experience in project management and project control, with a focus on construction projects.
Solid knowledge of project control principles and practices, including cost control, schedule management, risk management, earned value management, and change management.
Expertise in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and forecasting.
Familiarity with project management software tools and platforms such as Primavera P6, and ERP.
Experience in preparing and analyzing project reports and performance metrics to track project progress and provide insights to stakeholders.
Ability to identify and manage project risks and opportunities to ensure successful project outcomes.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Experience in managing project documentation and ensuring compliance with project standards and regulations.
Ability to mentor junior project control team members to ensure quality project delivery.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to address project issues and conflicts promptly and effectively.
Solid understanding of project management methodologies, standards, and processes.
Proficient in using project management software to plan, monitor, and control project schedules, budgets, and resources (Primavera P6, Excel, Power Bi, and SQL Server (or Access).
Ability to develop and implement project control plans and procedures to ensure project success.
