Job Description

Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) Iran is actively seeking a candidate for the position of Intellectual Property Assistant at an entry level.

  • Working hours: Saturday to Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Tasks, which the candidate is required to tackle on a daily basis, include:

  • Coordinate office matters.
  • Correspond to client queries via email.
  • Cover the processes for registration of intellectual properties.
  • Carry out intellectual property searches and prepare reports based on results.
  • Maintain continuity of work operations by documenting and communicating needed actions to management.

Requirements

  • Language skills: Persian, Native; English, Near-Native (written and spoken).

  • Expert computer, typing, and research skills.
  • Adequately skilled at English-to-Persian translation (and vice-versa).
  • Skilled at writing, editing, and paraphrasing in both English and Persian.
  • Highly skilled at carrying out searches and conducting research.
  • Have an extremely sharp eye for writing errors, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in English (Literature, Translation, etc.) or Law.
  • Higher education is not mandatory, but a plus.
  • Candidates, skilled in English, with degrees in other fields, may also apply. Professional experience:
  • At least two years of experience at a full-time office job.
  • Experience in the area of intellectual property is not mandatory but is a plus.
