
Job Description
KARL KOLB intends to expand its business operations in Iran and is therefore looking for a talented individual with the ability to carry out administrative tasks related to the daily management of the office in Tehran and to act as a first point of contact for clients. In addition, the Office Assistant and Translator will be responsible for the company’s accounting, invoicing and travel management as well as official translation. Responsibilities: - Proactive support of the Tehran office in establishing and maintaining business operations - Office management, accounting, invoicing, travel management and official translation - Secretarial tasks such as answering incoming calls, emails and greeting clients at reception - Minutes taking during business negotiations and preparation of PowerPoint presentations - Monitoring of national and international tender announcements - Organization and support of relevant conferences and exhibitions - Coordination of necessary training for peers and clients, respectively - Liaison with the relevant departments at the headquarters in Dreieich, Germany
Requirements
- University degree in Accounting / Business / Management / International Trade and minimum 3 years of relevant work experience - High proficiency in English equivalent to CEFR level > C1 or IELTS test score > 7.5 - Solid understanding of Iranian accounting rules and regulations in relation to book-keeping, taxes, payroll & SSO services etc. - Project management skills as well as an advanced level of Excel, Word and PowerPoint - Attention to detail, initiative and an independent working style - Basic understanding of foreign trade and logistics - Ability to adapt to a German management style with a flat hierarchy and open channels of communication - Willingness to travel within and outside Iran
