
Job Description
Objective: Working as part of the IT Operations team, to play a pivotal role in building and configuring new systems, maintaining and managing existing ones. Monitoring and troubleshooting complex problems within Network and portal infrastructure. To work closely with other team members of the Unit, as well as Database administration team, Network team & site engineering and Business environments. To be proactive in identifying and solving platform related tasks and sharing your efforts in a team-driven environment. Good knowledge about Networking topology, Total IT Infrastructure Solutions (LAN, WAN, WLAN), VOIP Solutions, Mail Servers /SharePoint & SAP Servers, Migration projects, Security Solutions Experience with SAN, NAS and DAS storage environments Strong knowledge and experience with DNS, HTTP, HTTPS, SSL, FTP, NFS, CIFS, iSCSI, LDAP, SMTP, SMPP, DHCP, NIS and TCP/IP Familiarity with RDBMS databases (Oracle, SQL), backup and recovery methods Experience with common networking designs and concepts, troubleshooting techniques, and configurations Main responsibilities : 1. Troubleshooting hardware and operating system problems through an organized total system approach & administration experience on check point Firewall on FortiNet Series 2. Concepts of Sub netting and Routing Logic (Static Routing and Dynamic Routing); 3. Routing Protocol (OSPF, EIGRP, IGRP, RIP), Routed Protocol (TCP/IP, IPX/SPX). Booting Process of Routers; 4. Configuration of Cisco Routers. Configuration of Cisco Switches ; 5. Configuration of Cisco family IP Phones; 6. Creation of VLAN using Trunk link, Access link; 7. Creation of WAN using Frame relay switching, Point to Point, ISDN Methodologies Configuration of PPP using PAP and CHAP Protocols. Configuration of ISDN using DDR Concepts; 8. Implemented traffic filters using Standard and Extended access-lists and Route Maps & Implementation of FTP, SFTP, TFTP, Telnet; 9. Ensure that security issues are addressed in a pro-active manner including hacking, viruses, protection of sensitive data, etc; 10. Providing guidance and training as required to other team members and user support for escalated issues from helpdesk; 11. Ability to prioritize and organize tasks and various projects effectively; 12. Ability to communicate effectively with all professional levels; 13. Ability to work effectively in a team oriented environment and support group's goals and projects; 14. Ability to use deductive reasoning when troubleshooting server issues; 15. Ability to differentiate and protect proprietary information effectively; Reporting to : Network Manager Working hours : Sat-Thursday, 7:30 - 16:30 Travel requirements : Yes *The same job is available in Tehran and Qazvin.
Requirements
University qualifications : B.S. Degree in computer science or related degree 1 - 5 Years progressive work experience, Experience with network architecture (design & Implementation), high availability, fault tolerance Other certifications : Such as MCP, MCSE, CCNA, CCNP or CCIE is desirable; Other Skills : 1. Good interpersonal skills; 2. Strong work ethic, ability to work independent of direct supervision ; self starting; 3. A team player and drive in working with others; 4. Willing to work long (sometimes odd) hours; 5. Strong verbal and written communication in English (ability to communicate effectively; (verbally and written)
