To drive the Zar Group business and to create sustainable competitive advantage and economic value for Zar Group through excellent consumer marketing
Main Responsibilities:
- Leads, guides and supports the marketing team in in all strategic and operational areas and drives execution excellence
Develops deep understanding of what drives business now and in the future
- Monitors developments and best practice in marketing and ensures application at Zar Group
- Selects external agency partners, negotiates and agree contracts, and manages high level relations
- Negotiates and concludes contracts with media owners
- Develops, negotiates and gets approval for annual marketing plan
- Defines annual marketing budget
- Analyzes P&L and takes action to achieve profit objectives
- Attracts and retains talent
- Develops high performing marketers
- Leads team to high performance
- Manages external and internal stakeholders laterally and upwards to get business results
Requirements
University Qualifications: BA/ MA/ PhD in Marketing or related field/ Management/ Industrial Engineering / MBA.
Nature and length of previous experience: +5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in FMCG.
Professional and proactive work ethic
High Competence in project and stakeholder management
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
Experience with digital marketing forms such as social media marketing and content marketing
Specialist knowledge: Competency in Microsoft applications including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
