Job Description

Objective: Marine Instrument and Control Senior Engineer (Guarantee Engineer) Main responsibilities: - To use the vendor prints and navigation, electrical and control systems engineering documents, - To use the design and construction engineering documents, - Trouble shooting for the Ocean-going Vessel's power and control systems - Communicating and Event Reporting / Periodical Reporting to the Company and the Mother Company (Manufacturer Company) and Owner (may be the Chief Engineer) - Communicating with owner, and the chief engineer, on board and on behalf of the Company - Preparing and execution of repair procedures. - Also do supporting for mechanical related repairs as the main engine, the diesel generator, or other equipment repair jobs - Communicate and make good and positive challenge with the Owner / Chief Engineer concerning Guarantee Contractual issues, not to accept any irrelevant inquiry raised by the Owner reps. Reporting to: Managing Director Subordinates: Guarantee technical support team Number required: one Duration: 3 months offshore up to 15 months onshore Desired start date: as soon as possible Travel requirements: yes Gross monthly base salary: competitive price

Requirements

- Minimum Bachelor degree (Engineering) in Electrical, Instrument and Control or etc.. - Minimum 15 Years relevant experience in Navigation, Electrical and Control Systems Trouble shooting for Large Vessels, - Good track records of playing as Guarantee Engineer on large Vessels would be advantage, - Able to do trouble shooting for any navigation, electrical, instrument, control systems and etc.. - Familiarity and ability with simple piping and mechanical repair jobs for the Vessels equipment will be an advantage - Able to use engineering design (vendor, detail and construction engineering documents) - Good communication skills is required - Ability of facing with the Client / Vessel's owner, good knowledge of Contracts implementing and positive challenging with Client or Owner concerning the contractual battery limits, - Ms Office, - Fluent English (Talking, Writing and Reading) Familiar with following system & Brands will be essential: 1. Main Engine - M.E automation (Hyundai MAN B&W-KONGSBERG) 2. Main switchboard/Local panels (Rolf Janssen) 3. RCV+Tank gauging system (NAVALIMPIANTI) 4. Radio-Navigation equipment (Consilium) 5. Fire detection system (Consilium) 6. Incinerator (TeamTec) 7. LOGO /PLC/OP7 (SIEMENS)
