Job Description
● Set policy and guidelines for safe, agile, and cost-effective logistics processes for the business.
● Select carriers and negotiate contracts and rates.
● Plan and monitor inbound, in-house, and contract manufacturing logistics and outgoing deliveries.
● Supervise logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services.
● Research ideal shipping techniques, routing, and carriers.
● Organize warehouse, label goods, plot routes, and process shipments.
● Work with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations.
● Evaluate budgets and expenditures.
● Assess, manage and mitigate risks.
● Update and evaluate metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements.
● Ensure all operations adhere to laws, guidelines, GMP, and ISO requirements.
● Respond to any issues or complaints.
● Provide periodic reporting for management on logistics, cost, facilities, and processes.
● Develop workflow process in line with ERP software system.
● Advise senior management and improve logistics process.
