- Plan pickup and delivery to coordinate efforts in meeting customer demand
- Analyze the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or mixes, location-allocation, and timing
- Develop and Implement an optimal plan
- Develop risk management programs to ensure continuity of service in emergency scenarios.
- Manage distribution & collection center operation to ensure achievement of cost, productivity, accuracy, or timeliness objectives.
- Design models for use in evaluating logistics programs or services.
- Create policies or procedures for logistics activities.
- Conduct investigations as needed to determine the root cause for issues as well as measuring the financial impact.
- Collaborate and Work closely with sales, finance, shipping, branches, and operations departments to prepare and implement plans that meet the Company’s performance objectives.
Requirements
- Master Degree in the field of Industrial Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain planning
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a manager
- Excellent knowledge about the mathematical model and other techniques of Decision Making
- Excellent knowledge about problem-solving techniques
- High ability in multidimensional thinking
- Able to work well with at least one of optimization software
- Able to work well in a team environment
- Good command of English Language Skills
- Excellent communication and networking skills
