Job Description
General Purpose: This individual is responsible for leading the local sales unit's customer demand fulfillment, demand and availability management and logistics management with a team of supply chain professionals within Levant LSU. He/ she has the overall responsibility of ensuring logistics performance and customer satisfaction. Objectives/ key tasks: - Manages a team of operational supply chain professionals in a group of countries, sets targets, coach, and develops team members to deliver best logistics performance and customer satisfaction. Acts as a role model for Nokia values. - Responsible for demand fulfillment including order management, invoicing, order fulfillment and delivery of goods. - Responsible for demand availability management activities including providing supply visibility to demand planning processes, balance and optimize demand and availability between accounts and ensure allocation execution according to sales guidance. - Actively manages logistics service provider relationship: deliveries on time, with good quality with agreed lead times. Contributes to outbound logistics development activities. - Manages the costs and STP budget of Iran LSU customer logistics function. - Stabilizes, harmonizes and improves existing processes on local level while adhering to global process guidelines and designs. Participates in process design work as and when required. Contributes local requirements to regional and global initiatives. - Actively participates to LSU management team work and to sales unit customer logistics management team. Represents customer logistics organization externally and towards other functions. - Has the LSU ownership of deploying and running Nokia's logistics service offerings: Variant management and customization, collaboration and outbound logistics.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in supply chain management. - Expert in supply chain management and understand complex supply chains. - Experience in high volume, high mix product environment. - Has implemented demand and inventory management models. - High tech and/or consumer electronics experience is preferred. Working with telecom industry and specifically operators is viewed favorably. - Has worked in multinational and multicultural environment. - Recognized leader of change management and leading change. - Proven track record in attracting, hiring, developing, mentoring and coaching individuals and teams. - Experience in working in a highly matrix organization is ideal. - Four year degree in logistics, supply chain, operations, or engineering.
