Job Description
The objective of the role:
- Working as a professional translator in a reputable law firm specializing in intellectual property law.
List of Responsibilities:
- Translating texts and documents from Farsi into English and vice versa, ensuring that the meaning of the source text is retained.
- Researching legal, technical, and scientific phraseology to find the correct translation.
- Assisting in the preparation of reports for international clients.
- Catching the errors in translated documents by the official translation bureau.
- Proofreading and editing the final translated and edited documents.
- Prioritizing work to meet deadlines.
- Retaining and developing knowledge of intellectual property.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in English (Literature or Translation).
- Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- At least 2 years of experience as an English translator or teacher is preferred, and having business education or working experience in industries or a translation bureau is an advantage.
- Relevant computer skills (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
