● Provide overall efficient accounting for the Iranian non-commercial branch of the Russian company according to Local legislation and according to the corporate requirements of the company.
● Ensure timely and accurate period closing of the corporate and Iranian accounting books according to the schedule.
● Control over the statutory reporting according to Iranian legislation.
● Control over taxes calculation and reporting (including payroll taxes) according to the Iranian legislation.
● Control over payroll calculation (approximately 10 employees), business trips
● Control over bank payments.
● Control entries in the accounting system (corporate and Iranian).
● Contracts verification for the absence of tax and accounting risks.
● Manage relationships with the headquarters, suppliers, banks, tax authorities, and external auditors.
● Manage the inventory-taking process in the branch.
Requirements
● Working experience in the Oil and Gas industry with buy-back contracts is preferable.
● Higher professional education (Bachelor's or Master's degree), relevant professional certification, or a postgraduate program is preferable.
● ACCA qualification is preferable.
● At least 10 years of relevant experience in tax and accounting.
● Relevant experience in audit is advantageous.
● Experience in payroll calculation and accounting is a must.
● Experience in Iranian tax and reporting is a must
● Excellent software skills, MS Excel.
● Fluent in verbal and written English (upper-intermediate level or higher).
● Excellent strategic planning skills and ability to interact with all levels.
● Able to multitask and be open to adapting to changing business requirements.
