Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a junior commercial operations specialist within our domestic hotel vertical. This role is ideal for someone passionate about pricing strategies, and operational excellence in the Tourism industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial aspects, implementing pricing strategies, and ensuring smooth operations while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.

Responsibilities:

Analysis and Reporting:

  • Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze financial data, track performance metrics, and generate detailed reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to support decision-making processes.

Pricing Strategy Development:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement pricing strategies for hotel services.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences to optimize pricing and maximize revenue.

Cost Control and Optimization:

  • Work closely with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and pricing agreements. Monitor costs and expenses, identify opportunities for cost savings, and implement measures to improve profitability.

Supplier Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely communication and resolution of any issues or concerns.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for supplier-related matters and coordinate supplier meetings as needed.

Process Improvement:

  • Continuously evaluate and streamline operational processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to drive operational excellence and cost savings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis, pricing strategy development, or operations management within the hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, data manipulation, and financial modeling.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to reconcile factors, analyze data, and draw meaningful insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
