Job Description

● To collaborate with other teams to develop Go To Live plans for new product launches and training for direct and indirect partner teams. ● To provide consultancy to the DevOps team regarding the impact of the changes to the current/new systems/applications on the overall Enterprise/Data architecture to ensure they are all aligned and integrated. ● To provide and keep management updated on the status of each assigned project ● To oversee ITS operations teams' educating process on adopting architecture principles and standards, reference models, and procedures affecting system designs and technology selections. ● To initiate IT Infrastructure architecture modernization: Leverage existing investments while harnessing the agility and scalability of new architectures for enabling new business opportunities. ● To work closely with respective ITS Architect Domain Lead to lead and deliver the assigned projects. ● To ensure compliance and alignment with all architecture directions, standards, MTN group architecture roadmap, MTNIrancell policies and procedures, standards and product portfolio across the organization, and direct involvement in development efforts. ● To collaborate in developing policies, processes, systems artifacts, Enterprise Reference Architecture (including standard services, patterns, frameworks, and understanding of common technology platforms), enterprise information models, data flow architecture and data models in line with the systems design and architecture principles. ● To contribute to developing and maintaining an overall integrated, business-aligned application architecture framework for MTNIrancell in line with world-class standards (e-TOM, TAM/TNA, SID, TOGAF). ● To act as a bridge between ITS and MTNIrancell divisions to provide guidance and advice on new technologies and fix their current issue. ● To be the point of contact for emergency incidents for service-owned applications, work closely with ITS staff and engineering leads to serve as a technical point of contact, understand details and constraints of technical implementations and provide advice. ● To evaluate the effectiveness and measure implementation success of new products and services in the existing environment and provide ongoing tracking and monitoring of the performance of decision systems and statistical models, and recommend changes in procedures to meet MTNIrancell users’ needs. ● To collaborate with business and ITS management functions to Evaluate the effort and cost-benefit of solutions offered by business units/vendors and review impact analysis. ● To suggest plans to Management for migrating enterprise applications from the current architecture to the desired architecture – by identifying initiatives to migrate to the desired architecture. ● To evaluate new technologies and software products to determine the feasibility and desirability of incorporating their capabilities to implement the strategies and plans for migration. ● To support and lead the technical product and service Life Cycle processes and activities. ● To lead the end-to-end development of the application integration solutions, installation, integration, and testing. ● To contribute to developing “Deployment with Flexibility” using the SaaS/PaaS/DaaS considering deployment of applications on-premises, in the cloud, or in a hybrid environment. ● To analyze the data being produced through systems/services, collect and pre-process a large image dataset, develop Machine learning and data mining, graph mining, big data, sampling and estimation, intrusion and fraud detection, massive streaming data, and time-series prediction, and ensure the data are all correct, consistent, integrated, optimized, and well managed. ● To implement and follow the demand management process through end-to-end Demand Generation engagement events and working with MTNIrancell divisions to gather their business requirement for changes in the system and/or new technical architect-related projects. ● To deliver conceptual and logical solution designs for specific applications or suites of applications within a conceptual and logical solution architecture for a set of business requirements that defines how the needs of an entire project/program impact the applications. ● To support and develop the processes and reports on the technology investment decisions and approval, such as tender evaluation and review in line with other technical divisions and business units. ● To ensure that all required documentation for every step of the system development process, performance analysis, enterprise service capabilities (service catalogs), etc., are in place. ● To ensure that the application architecture components are on the appropriate long-term path and that ‘dead-end’ application options are minimized. ● To provide high-level analysis and design reviews to other teams regarding integration and use to avoid potential impact on the enterprise and drive adoption as deemed appropriate. ● To analyze architecture best practice trends and emerging integration technologies; determine their potential impact on the enterprise and drive adoption as appropriate. ● To provide internal consultation to multiple practice areas regarding the adoption of emerging technologies including working with major platform providers, implementing proof-of-concept, and developing approaches to standardize and implement these technologies. ● To work with IT architect(s) to provide a consensus-based enterprise solution that is scalable, adaptable, and synchronizes with ever-changing business needs. ● To identify and manage Risks of information and IT assets through appropriate standards and security policies. ● To build a deep learning model for the automatic selection of representative images for various search guidance modules. ● To constantly review and consult with vendors or any other third parties on enterprise issues related to all services to develop solutions to resolve them. ● To oversee the planning, organizing, and coordinating assigned technical projects and lead cross-functional teams regarding product management, engineering, support, marketing, and channels. ● To inspire others through conviction, vision, and the ability to formulate and articulate direction in the solution area. ● To share expertise with colleagues and others, Team learning, and knowledge sharing within ITS team(s). ● To act as an Enterprise Architecture Single Point of Contact (EA SPOC) for the systems practice, including facilitation of governance processes, variance and exception approvals, and technology standards compliance.


● Bachelor's degree in Information Technologies or related fields; a Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer sciences, or related fields is preferred. ● At least 5 years of experience in the area of specialization; with experience in supervising/managing others. ● Experience working in a medium to large organization. ● Experience in an IT or quantitative business area with solid demonstrated experience in architecture, integrating and analyzing disparate sources, and quality improvement, IT application domain, with a strong emphasis on software development and solutions, evaluating and implementing solution quality metrics on both relational and legacy systems. ● Experience in participating in solution analysis sessions with the user community to capture business requirements clearly, completely, and correctly, in creating, reviewing, and presenting source systems analysis and source-to-target mapping across staging, integration, and presentation layers.
