- Identifying and procuring the hardware and software needed to satisfy user requirements
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, operating systems and applications
- Handling Network security (creating the necessary backups)
- Administering e-mail and anti-virus systems
- Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
- Oversee the daily performance of computer systems
- Maintain and records of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken, or installation activities
- Responsible for creating and maintaining backups
Requirements
- Minimum bachelor's degree of computer science or IT
- Using computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to program, write software, set up functions, enter data, or process information.
- Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
- Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.
- Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.
