Job Description

Job Purpose
To maintain and support the company’s IT infrastructure, including networks, hardware, software, communications systems, information security, and end-user services, ensuring the stability, availability, and security of organizational technology services.

Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and peripheral devices.
Provide timely technical support to users; log, follow up, and resolve hardware and software incidents and service requests.
Install, configure, update, and support operating systems, business applications, and security tools.
Set up, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot wired and wireless networks, switches, routers, firewalls, and related communication equipment.
Configure and support network devices, including Cisco and MikroTik equipment, in line with organizational requirements.
Support user-account administration, access permissions, password management, file sharing, and Domain/Active Directory services, where applicable.
Maintain and support communication systems, including VoIP services, PBX systems, and associated equipment.
Perform and monitor regular data backups; periodically test the restoration and recoverability of backup files.
Implement information-security practices, including endpoint protection, antivirus updates, access control, and escalation/reporting of security incidents.
Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, network topology, key configurations, licenses, and maintenance records.
Coordinate with IT vendors, service providers, and suppliers for procurement, maintenance, and resolution of technical issues.
Assess IT requirements across business units and recommend improvements to enhance infrastructure reliability, security, and operational efficiency.
Perform other IT-related duties as assigned by the direct manager.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Network Engineering, or a related field.
At least 3 years of relevant experience in IT support, networking, and infrastructure administration.
Experience in a multi-department, manufacturing, distribution, or multi-site organization is an advantage.
Technical Skills and Knowledge
Proficiency in installing and troubleshooting Windows client operating systems; familiarity with Windows Server.
Sound knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, routing, and switching.
Hands-on experience with Cisco and MikroTik networking equipment.
Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, and network-security concepts.
Familiarity with Active Directory, user administration, and access-rights management.
Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, and data-restoration practices.
Familiarity with VoIP and business telephony systems.
Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, network connectivity, and end-user issues.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, endpoint security/antivirus solutions, and remote-support tools.
Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V is an advantage.
