Job Description

  • Design, develop, and implement purchasing instructions, policies, and procedures.
  • Speak and write in English fluently.
  • Monitor contractor performance, recommending contract modifications when necessary.
  • Analyze market and delivery systems to assess present and future product availability.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers, traders, and dealers to purchase products at a competitive price and quality.
  • Drive efficiencies to ensure contracts remain financially viable and delivered on budget.
  • Participate in domestic and international exhibitions in order to maintain and expand the network of suppliers.

Requirements

  • Proficient in customs and clearance laws.
  • Familiarity with internal and external trade.
  • Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strategic thinker.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage both internal and customer relationships.
  • Excellent leadership qualities.
  • Team-oriented.
  • Strong relationship and interpersonal skills.
  • At least a Master's degree in Commerce or other related fields.
  • Proficient in foreign and domestic commercial matters, including supply, preparation, and regulation of contracts, obtaining relevant licenses from the Food and Drug Organization, order registration, all banking matters (allocation, purchase, currency transfer), international transportation, import, clearance, and settlement, etc. 
  • Familiarity with the TTAC, NTSW EPL, and other related systems.
  • Ability to do things referred by the managing director or approved by the board of directors.
  • At least 7 years of managerial work experience in the pharmaceutical industry for importing drugs, raw materials pharmaceutical supplements, medical equipment, and supplies.
