Job Description
Work Summary: Design Review, Design Change, Vendor Prints Review, Constructability Review, Inspection, Erection Supervision, and Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning of M& E Works for a large scale water transmission project comprising lifting pumping stations, transmission pipelines and small hydraulic electric power plants. Design Review: - Design review to be undertaken during the proposal design and detailed design phases with appropriate design and/or construction experience and knowledge. Design Change: - Design change to be undertaken when required during the proposal design and detailed design phased with appropriate design and/or construction experience and knowledge. Vendor Prints Review: - Able to review Vendor Prints and issue technical comments to Vendors during the procurement stage Constructability Review: - Constructability to be undertaken during the detailed design and construction phase Inspection: - Develop, review and validate ITP(Inspection & Test Plan) - Inspection to be undertaken according to the established ITP Erection Supervision: - Review and validate Construction drawings before equipment erection begins. - Oversee equipment erection during construction stage Pre-Commissioning: - Develop and review the pre-commissioning plan - Oversee the appropriate inspection and functional tests to be undertaken by Suppliers - Carry out the appropriate inspection and functional tests to be undertaken Commissioning: - Develop and review the pre-commissioning plan - Oversee the appropriate inspection and functional tests to be undertaken by Suppliers - Carry out the appropriate inspection and functional tests to be undertaken Position: Manager
Requirements
Degree/Major: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering discipline or a relevant engineering disciplines Gender/Age: Male / 35 to 55 Language: Fluent in English both written and spoken with an excellent capability in written technical skills as well as oral and written communication skills Experience (years): Minimum 15 years of experience in the management of E&M works of multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects Requirement: At least 10 years of experience in the management of multidisciplinary infrastructure projects plus not less than 3 years of experience in the management of E&M Works of large-scale Water Transmission Project with a total capacity of not less than 10m3/s. Preferred: Work experience in water transmission projects implemented by IWPC, Having knowledge and technical skills of small hydro-electric power plant
