
Job Description
Responsible for preparing and confirming order approval, arranging shipments, handling pricing information, calculating duties, tariffs, price conversions, weight, and volume of merchandise exported and imported, to and from foreign destinations; Managing the Import/Export process, to ensure compliance with laws and regulations; Handling completion of paperwork and monetary transactions associated with purchasing, shipping and customs duty; Constant checking for opportunities for lowering the cost of the shipment charges from the origin to the destination warehouse; Answering questions and resolving the issues involving all areas of imports from customs brokers, carriers, third-party or internal employees, and to the management. Being in contact with other departments for any updates about the products, prices, delivery times and the upcoming orders; Consulting with the sales department for special pricing policies for especial projects/occasions; Reports to the management.
Requirements
BA degree in Logistics, (International) Business or equivalent. 5 years of related experience. Detailed understanding of import/export processes and customs compliance regulations. Experience working with Customs brokers and strong follow-up skills. Computer skills including Internet, Windows, MS Office, data entry, database and extensive knowledge of Spreadsheet. Interpersonal communication skills, relationship management and collaboration skills. Excellent organizational skills. Effective prioritization skills. Fluency in all of the English Language skills.
