HSE Assistant

Job Description

Kansai Paint Iranian Company is looking to add an experienced and dedicated HSE Assistant to its HSE team. This role will be responsible for performing and overseeing HSE processes.

Job Description and Duties:
-Overseeing compliance with safety requirements across all factory departments
-Identifying hazards and recommending corrective and preventive actions
-Conducting periodic inspections and preparing safety reports
-Investigating and recording accidents and near-misses, and following up on corrective actions
-Conducting safety and occupational health training for employees, and preventing work-related illnesses
-Overseeing the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
-Collaborating in the implementation of legal requirements and the establishment of HSE management systems
-Identifying, assessing, and monitoring workplace hazardous agents (chemical, physical, ergonomic, etc.)
-Collaborating in the implementation of occupational health programs and employee medical examinations
-Providing control solutions to reduce hazardous agents
-Preparing and maintaining occupational health documentation and reports
-Cooperating with legal authorities and regulatory organizations in the field of occupational health

Professional skills:
-Bachelor's degree or higher in Safety Engineering, HSE, or Occupational Health
-Familiarity with occupational safety and health laws and requirements
-Familiarity with workplace hazardous agents and legal requirements
-Ability to identify, assess, and control safety risks
-Skills in report preparation, documentation, and employee training
-Work experience in industrial environments
-Language: Strong command of written and spoken English
