Job Description
-Karl Kolb has recently been appointed as the exclusive agent of a leading European manufacturer of Histopathology instruments and consumables in Iran. -We are looking for a talented individual with a comprehensive understanding of Histopathology as well as a proven track-record in sales. -Main Responsibilities: -Working closely with the Regional Sales Manager Middle East & Africa based in Dreieich/Germany as well as the Sales Manager based in Tehran/Iran in order to introduce the aforementioned manufacturer in Iran -Primary responsibility to establish a leading European manufacturer of Histopathology instruments and consumables as a premium brand in a proactive manner with the goal to develop a sustainable business -Establishment and operation of a demo laboratory in Tehran with the purpose to showcase certain equipment to potential clients -Provision of technical know-how during business negotiations and following requests by end-users (trouble-shooting) -Registration of Karl Kolb as the exclusive agent of a leading European manufacturer of Histopathology instruments and consumables with the relevant authorities (IMED, customs -Organization and attendance of relevant conferences and exhibitions -Coordination and execution of necessary training for peers and clients, respectively
Requirements
-University degree as Karshenase Oloume Azmayeshgahi OR in Biomedical Engineering and Technologies, Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry OR any relevant degree from a Medical Technical Institute -Minimum of 3 years work experience in Histopathology -Solid understanding of sales & applications of Histopathology instruments and consumables -Ability to generate new business leads, communicate with potential customers and coordinate follow-up procedures -Ability to plan marketing activities, events and exhibitions -Ability to carry out basic installations of instruments such as embedding centers, tissue processors, microtomes, automatic stainers and digital imaging systems -Experience in registering and importing laboratory equipment that require the approval of the Ministry of Health and Medical Sciences (i.e. IMED) -Attention to detail, initiative and an independent working style -Native proficiency in Farsi, professional fluency in English -Ability to adapt to a German management style with a flat hierarchy and open channels of communication -Willingness to travel within and outside Iran -Ideal Age Range: Minimum 25
