Manage the general services team including but not limited to the receptionist, procurement, cleaners, teaboys, maintenance, couriers, and warehouse.
Create an internal warehouse, manage it, and make sure all items are available in time based on defined standards (inventory management).
Oversee and agree on contracts and providers for services including cleaning, catering, security, HSE, and so on time.
Work on company general facility regulations, and internal policies and promote them to meet employee and business needs.
Plan on Building maintenance and reflect them on the budgets (Capex and Opex) and ensure cost-effectiveness.
Ensure that facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health, and security standards.
Oversee building projects, based on the growth plan of the company, number of employees, and renovations or refurbishments.
Be aligned with the HR team to provide in-time facilities such as work accessories and essential materials to newcomers and ensure all employees have standard workstations.
Support businesses to establish/relocate to new offices or make decisions about leasing if needed.
Draft and prepare monthly/quarterly reports about consuming trends and written recommendations to make more cost-effective decisions.
Make sure that all employees receive high-quality general services in the workplace to promote the “best place to work” concept in practice.
Requirements
At least 5 years of work experience in a relevant field.
Excellent management skills to lead and support the team.
Familiarity with Vendor ship concepts and regulations.
Familiarity with planning and budgeting practices.
Have a practical, flexible, and innovative approach to working with customers and coworkers.
Familiarity with general procurement processes.
Have a good understanding of periodic building maintenance.
Be agile and smart and have the ability to forecast the needs.
